Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Critical Care ICU setting, including management of stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform thorough neurological assessments and monitor patients using ICP monitoring and EVDs
• Assist with and manage basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Support bolt and drain bedside placements in collaboration with the neurosurgery team
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and Med/Surg ICU units, with potential float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or ARC (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong neuro assessment skills
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (required)
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment preferred
• Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage change effectively, and complete tasks in a timely manner
