Registered Nurse – Gynecologic Oncology (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekends and Holidays Off

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a specialized gynecologic oncology outpatient practice
• Perform triage nursing both over the phone and in person, assessing and prioritizing patient needs appropriately
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, social workers, and patient service representatives
• Apply critical thinking skills to manage a variety of clinical tasks in a fast-paced outpatient environment
• Support continuity of care by transitioning fluidly between diverse daily responsibilities and patient interactions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in oncology, medical-surgical, acute care, or another high-acuity setting
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic clinical environment
• Experience with triage nursing, both telephonic and in-person

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–3 years of bedside nursing experience in a higher-acuity hospital setting
• Background in gynecologic oncology or a related oncology specialty
• Experience working within an outpatient specialty practice environment
