Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN General) Profession: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN General) Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Valid Ohio LPN License Certifications: CPR Certification Must-Have: - Candidate must be flexible to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Must be able to start with no upcoming scheduling conflicts, including vacations or appointments. - Must arrive on the floor ready to work at the scheduled shift start time. Description: Administers nursing care within the scope of practice as defined in relevant regulations. Works under the direction of registered nurses and licensed healthcare providers. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintains medication accountability records to ensure proper handling. Observes and documents patient conditions to report to healthcare providers. Provides general nursing care and assistance with daily living activities. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Assists lower-level staff in delivering essential nursing care. Orders and maintains inventory of medications and medical supplies. Cleans and organizes the nursing station and medication areas. Participates in meetings and training programs as required. Knowledge of skilled nursing procedures and patient care protocols is essential. Skills in using medical equipment and following healthcare practices are necessary. Understanding of regulations and standards related to patient privacy is important. Strong interpersonal skills are required for effective communication with patients and team members.
