Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Concord, NC. This role will involve working in a dynamic teaching hospital environment known for its excellence in trauma, chest pain, and stroke care. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in orthopedic, spine, trauma, and vascular surgery care to provide high-quality patient support in a dedicated MedSurg unit.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with common diagnoses including orthopedic, spine, trauma, and vascular surgeries.
• Demonstrate proficiency in post-surgical skills such as incision care, drains, wound care, mobility, and patient education.
• Adapt to flexible staffing requirements and float to various units as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNA, RT, Hospitalist, and others to enhance patient care.
• Utilize hospital technologies and equipment efficiently in patient care.
• Participate actively in departmental support and mentoring programs.

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
• General post-surgical skill set and adaptability to float between facilities as required
