Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients
• Manage care for conditions such as small bowel obstructions, pneumothorax, and fractures
• Perform skills including chest tube management, PIV starts, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety and care
• Float as required within scope of practice and regional facilities

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• 18 months Med/Tele RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
