About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Valid State License required at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery - Weekend coverage required every other weekend - Willingness to float within the facility Description: Position available for a registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Two years of experience required. First-time travelers are accepted. No on-call requirements. Candidates will float within scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates are accepted. Pending licenses cannot be accepted. Request for time off is limited to one request. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Hospital highlights include functioning as a teaching hospital with a total of 228 staffed beds. Scrubs will be provided. Charting systems used include Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos. Daily census includes neonate, adolescent, and adult patient age groups. Expect a daily average of seven visits with a total of 12 beds available. Weekend patient ratios will be maintained. Candidates must have the required certifications. No travel experience is required. Candidates must provide two supervisor references.
