Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Required RN License Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: ACLS BLS NRP Labor and Delivery experience Fetal monitoring Description: Facility uses an electronic charting system for monitoring. Candidates are expected to be able to circulate in C-sections. The unit includes a Labor and Delivery department with a specific number of beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 on medication induction and 1:2 otherwise. The electronic health record system is utilized for charting. The patient population includes maternity women and newborns. Common procedures include monitoring fetal heart rates and assisting in labor progression. Positive attitude, cooperation, and initiative are essential traits for this role. Certification and licensure are required to work as a Registered Nurse.
