Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting with a 3:1 patient ratio
• Perform circulating and monitoring duties during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Respond to STEMI call within a 30-minute response time to the hospital
• Operate and assist with high-risk equipment including Impella, IABP, and similar devices
• Fulfill on-call requirements of approximately 7–9 shifts per month, including one weekend rotation
• Float to an additional facility location within Tucson as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience (3+ years preferred; less may be considered)
• Experience with circulating and monitoring in a Cath Lab environment
• Familiarity with STEMI protocols and high-risk cardiac equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari)
• Ability to meet a 30-minute on-call response time requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Prior travel nursing experience
