Pay: $68 to $70 per hour
Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care on a Geropsychiatric Unit. The RN will assess and monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, develop individualized care plans, facilitate therapeutic activities, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality behavioral health care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patients' physical and mental health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, patient education, and one-on-one interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Complete admission assessments, progress notes, discharge planning, and required documentation.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or completion of a 3-year nursing diploma program required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current New Hampshire RN License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Additional Information

• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract.
• Holiday pay applies only if the shift begins on the recognized holiday.
