Location: Soldotna, Alaska

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, any day of the week with on-call as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of RNs
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Document patient care accurately and timely
Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license (or compact license accepted)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
1 year of long-term care experience
BSN preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work night shifts and on-call as needed

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nursing care and patient care principles
Skilled in long-term care and geriatric nursing
Experience with EPIC charting system
Basic computer skills (PC, software, databases)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
