We also offer surgical suites including same-day surgery — plus advanced imaging, diagnostic and treatment technology across multiple care disciplines. We offer several specialty services — such as nephrology, pulmonology and urology — to keep care close to home. Telemedicine connects patients to additional specialties available at other Avera locations. We’re Aberdeen’s only hospital providing 24/7 emergency heart and heart attack care. If an emergency arises requiring air transport, the Careflight air ambulance team is equipped with the latest in life-saving technology and expert trauma teams.
