About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele experience required; Post op surgical care experience required. License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required. Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Experience with heparin, insulin, diuretic infusions, amiodarone, diltiazem, and 3% saline infusion. - Must be able to confidently read EKG/ECG and perform all telemetry-related duties. - EPIC EMR experience required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Med Surg/Telemetry. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 24 months of current experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele. Candidates must possess post-operative surgical care experience, including EGD, colonoscopy, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker monitoring. Experience with specific drips and titrations is required, including heparin, insulin, diuretics, amiodarone, diltiazem, and 3% saline infusion. Candidates must demonstrate competence in reading EKG/ECG, including interpreting rhythm strips and dysrhythmias. Experience with EPIC EMR is mandatory.
