Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assist Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - 2 years of current First Assist operating room experience License: - Massachusetts RN license Certifications: - Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) - Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science degree - Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred) - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in First Assist within the operating room. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, working 8-hour days. Travelers must provide documentation of previous employment and skill set. All requests for time off during the assignment must be noted upfront. Requests made after submission will not be approved. The facility will not accept any traveler residing within a specified radius. Travelers need to ensure that voicemail is set up on their phones for communication. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as late requests may lead to rescinded offers. Candidates will undergo a non-billable orientation. On-call responsibilities include rotation as necessary. Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts is required as necessary.
