Position Overview

The Registered Nurse functions as a leader in the delivery of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice.

The RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, directing and assisting support staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, promoting positive patient outcomes, and maintaining professional accountability.

Experience Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience

Preferred

  • Previous Telemetry and Med/Surg experience
  • Specialty certification in a related clinical area

Education Requirements

Required

  • Registered Nurse Diploma

Preferred

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Required Licensure & Certifications

Required

  • Current RN License in State of Practice
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred

  • Specialty Certification in Clinical Practice Area
