Travel Registered Nurse – NICU (Weekend Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Weekend Days – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 3:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite | Travel Position (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients ranging from stable feeder growers through critical Level 3 patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 within a 40-bed NICU unit
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float as needed to assist in other areas of the facility without taking an independent assignment in another unit
• Adhere to block scheduling requirements and unit protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Indiana (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of NICU Level 3 experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates will not be accepted
• Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a NICU setting
• Experience managing a broad acuity range of neonatal patients in a high-volume unit
