Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) / NICU

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Hold shift accountability for providing care to NICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity NICU setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced neonatal care environment
