Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (straight 48s may be considered) | 84 hours biweekly with 72-hour guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with the ability to float to Med Surg as needed
• Work night shifts on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule, including weekends as required
• Complete orientation modules during the designated orientation period
• Maintain compliance with all facility documentation requirements, ensuring hard documents are submitted within the required timeframe prior to start
• Deliver care in accordance with unit protocols and patient acuity needs across stepdown and medical-surgical populations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must be willing to float to Med Surg and work weekends as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records strongly preferred
• Familiarity with stepdown and PCU patient populations
