Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 150 patients per day, managing a wide range of acuity levels at a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients presenting with common ER diagnoses including abdominal pain, diabetes, NSTEMI, pneumonia, trauma, stroke, and hypertension
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips without the support of a monitor technician
• Perform and interpret Point of Care lab testing as trained by the facility
• Administer standard emergency department medications and drips per protocol
• Float throughout assigned regional zone's Emergency Departments within a 60-mile radius as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to be physically present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Center or comparable emergency department setting
• Familiarity with emergency stroke protocols and STEMI receiving workflows
• Experience working in a mixed-acuity ER environment without dedicated psychiatric seclusion rooms
