Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / PCU / Stepdown (Med/Tele)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry/cardiac-focused unit serving adult and geriatric populations, including patients with cardiac, respiratory, and acute-on-chronic conditions
• Titrate and manage drips including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Nipride, Lasix, and low-dose Dopamine
• Read, interpret, and document cardiac telemetry strips independently
• Manage and troubleshoot respiratory equipment including BiPAP, trachs, and high-flow devices
• Float as needed to PCU (full patient load), Medical-Surgical units, and ER hold/boarding areas
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5 (general) and 1:3 (PCU overflow level care)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• PCU-level experience required
• Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Experience titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Background in telemetry or cardiac nursing
• Familiarity with cardiac cath, EP studies, and pacemaker patient populations
