Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population in a Medical Surgical setting
• Participate in patient and family teaching throughout the care continuum
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary patient care team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards
• Float to additional units as needed, including custodial patient assignments with higher patient ratios and lower acuity
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must have personal reliable transportation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple unit types within an acute care environment
• Familiarity with adult-geriatric patient populations in a regional referral center setting
