Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Projected Start: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with up to 101 beds and patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
  • Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information throughout each visit
  • Operate Baxter pumps and GE monitors in accordance with unit protocols
  • Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed to meet departmental staffing requirements
  • Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET, respectful behavior practices, and consistent patient communication and board updates
  • Work every other weekend and maintain scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the department

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting
  • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
  • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
  • Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Previous experience within an HCA-affiliated facility
  • Familiarity with cardiac monitoring units and internal processing areas within an ED environment
  • Experience working in a culturally diverse, multilingual patient population
