Contract | Onsite | Mid/Evening Shift (12-hour shifts, 36/48 hours per week) | Start times: 12pm, 2pm, or 4pm

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive and continuous care
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in fast-paced emergency care situations
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Previous acute care facility experience
• Strong proficiency with Cerner and EPIC electronic health record systems
