About the Position

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Days and Nights available | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am) | Monday through Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and trach/vent needs
• Operate and monitor various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver specialized pediatric care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the submitted specialty
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required (AHA only)
• Must pass a telemetry exam (Pediatric) prior to start with a minimum score of 80%, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms; up to three attempts permitted under defined criteria

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative neonatal and pediatric patients
• Proficiency with multiple modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation management
• Familiarity with high-acuity Level IV NICU environments and complex patient populations
