Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring optimal patient care and flow
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to meet psychosocial, physical, and general care needs
• Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Address communication needs of patients and families, demonstrating initiative and professional responsibility
• Consult with specialists and ancillary departments as required to support comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) certification
