About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room or equivalent setting Recent Emergency Room travel experience preferred (within past 6-8 months) License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC required (must be willing to obtain if offered) Must-Have: Trauma Level II or III experience Experience with adults and children Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or an equivalent size facility. Experience with trauma patients at Level II or III is required. Candidates need to possess ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, and must be willing to obtain any missing certifications if offered the position. Recent travel experience in an Emergency Room setting is preferred, ideally within the past 6-8 months. The Registered Nurse will be expected to manage a variety of conditions, including but not limited to abdominal pain, trauma, and psychiatric emergencies. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential for this role. The position involves working with patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates should be proficient in using Cerner or similar charting systems.
