About the Position

Job Title: Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: Epic experience required Must-Have: - Acute hospital experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Locals accepted Description: Position: Case Manager Shift: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 No call requirements. Will float as a case manager to any inpatient unit. Weekend requirements: one weekend per month, working a weekend day in replacement of a weekday shift if scheduled. Acute hospital experience is required. Epic experience is required. Two years of experience is required, but first-time travelers will be accepted. Local candidates are accepted, with no change in pay rate. Team environment with interdisciplinary support. Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, and assessing medical necessity based on evidence-based guidelines. Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines and support needs assessments. Experience with prior authorizations and determining medical necessity is essential.
