About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Oregon RN license preferred Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Epic charting experience Description: SEPTEMBER START! OR RN, day shift. BLS required, ACLS preferred. Two years of experience; first-time travelers allowed. Weekday scheduled shifts are 10 hours. Weekday night call shifts are 8 hours from 23:00 to 07:00. Weekend scheduled and call shifts are 10 or 12 hours. Up to 6 shifts of call and/or weekend scheduled shifts per 6-week schedule. Patient Age Groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census is 60 patients. The unit handles a variety of diagnoses including trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, general surgery, urology, gynecology, dental, ENT, plastics, and more. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. License is NOT required at the time of submission; pending is acceptable. Oregon CNA license must be in hand at the time of submission. No pending or expired licensure will be accepted under any circumstance. Any license or background hits require a detailed written statement. Travelers may float to a nearby hospital as needed. Travelers who refuse to float may face contract cancellation.
