About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years of Operating Room RN experience, Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience License: Must have license prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Highly skilled in General, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho, GYN, and ENT procedures Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Operating Room. The nurse will be responsible for providing care in a high-acuity surgical environment. The RN will work with various surgical teams and equipment, including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. Candidates should possess knowledge of standard surgical equipment and experience with EPIC charting. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:1 during shifts. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including weekend commitments. Travelers should be prepared to float within their scope as needed. Only local travelers living within a certain radius will be considered. Candidates must have no blocks of scheduling guaranteed. Previous charge experience is preferred. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Special procedures and equipment available include robotics and advanced surgical technologies. Modules must be completed annually and onsite training may be required.
