About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required. License: - Compact or state license required at time of submission. Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - PALS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations. - Experience with structural procedures and implants. - Experience in hemodynamics and conscious sedation. - Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Description: Call is required with a 30-minute call back time. The candidate will work with diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations. Responsibilities include performing structural procedures and implants. Knowledge of hemodynamics and conscious sedation is essential. Preferred experience includes Level 1 trauma. Floating to the electrophysiology lab will be expected as scheduled. Call expectations include one late shift and one call shift per week, as well as one to two weekend call shifts every six weeks. Daily patient census is approximately 25 with a total of five procedure rooms available. Interdisciplinary support is provided from multiple specialized services including physical therapy, radiology, and pharmacy. Compliance with certifications and competency exams is required. Experience with ECMO, TAVR, and Watchman procedures is preferred.
