Job Description

Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Staffing Pool and provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The CNA will support registered nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team by assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, obtaining vital signs, and maintaining a safe, clean, and compassionate care environment.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable floating to different medical-surgical units based on staffing needs while maintaining excellent standards of care.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (NC CNA Registry) certification required prior to submission.
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of CNA experience.
  • Recent acute care hospital experience is required.
  • Candidates with only Long-Term Care (LTC) experience will not be considered.
  • Experience working on Medical-Surgical units preferred.
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to safely assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards.
  • Flexibility to work in a staffing pool and float to multiple units as needed.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) for a 13-week travel assignment
