Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process in an operating room setting
• Perform circulating duties across a range of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and ophthalmological procedures
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
• Carry out functions in accordance with facility policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines
• Support both outpatient and inpatient surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients
• Utilize CPSI electronic medical records system to document patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
• Current BLS certification
• Previous OR circulating experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgery required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic surgery preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
