Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• No open background case findings or license hits
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
• Previous travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
• References available from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
