Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical, overflow, post-surgical, and observation unit
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6/7 within a team nursing model
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotation as needed
• Collaborate with LPNs and interdisciplinary team members as the unit transitions to a team nursing structure
• Adhere to all facility compliance, floating, and holiday work requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a valid compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment
• Willingness to work weekend rotation and on-call as needed
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• All certifications must be current and in compliance at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Medical Surgical experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records
• ADN accepted; BSN preferred
