Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (Monday–Friday, no weekends or holidays) | 10-hour shifts | 30 hours guaranteed per week, up to 40 hours available

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy treatments to adult patients in an ambulatory oncology setting
• Monitor patients during chemotherapy infusions and respond to adverse reactions or changes in condition
• Collaborate with the oncology care team to coordinate and deliver individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in accordance with clinical standards
• Educate patients and families on chemotherapy protocols, side effect management, and supportive care

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Chemotherapy certification required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience with chemotherapy administration
• Ambulatory care setting experience required
• Current flu vaccination (medical exemptions only)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an outpatient or ambulatory oncology infusion environment
• Strong patient education skills related to oncology and chemotherapy treatment
