Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care continuum
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all clinical decisions
• Support an Epic EMR conversion environment, ensuring accurate and timely documentation within the system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic and Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple systems were used at a single employer)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS or ALS) certification
• AHA or ARC Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS or PALS) certification
• AHA or ARC Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP or NALS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
