Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days with Call | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist with procedures including left heart catheterization, right/left heart catheterization, stent placement, peripheral angiography, LINQ implant/explant, generator changes, and pacemaker implants
• Operate and monitor equipment including Philips cath lab systems and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with moderate sedation
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR documentation
• Strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Philips cath lab equipment and Merge hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Familiarity with a broad range of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures
