Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–1:7 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
• Float to like units with like patients as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Complete all required onboarding modules prior to start date and attend mandatory staff meetings
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as directed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• All required compliance modules must be completed prior to the Thursday before the start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience with demonstrated ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and associated patient populations
