Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, rotating (no blocked schedules) | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care to patients in a critical care setting
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel within their scope of practice
• Apply critical care nursing knowledge and skills to patients with multi-system failure requiring mechanical ventilation
• Provide care for neuro/trauma, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring patients
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition within the Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU environments

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.) in Nursing or related field
• Passing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) from an approved vendor
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required prior to start date (candidates without TNCC will be considered if obtained before start)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum six months of previous critical care experience
• Experience in Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU settings
• Familiarity with NIHSS assessment
