About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: Endovascular experience Vascular service line experience EVAR experience Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in the cardiovascular operating room. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:1. Overnight call is required approximately 2 times per week, with regular day call approximately once per month. The traveler is expected to work if one major holiday falls within the assignment period. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work both holidays. If three major holidays occur, the traveler must work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. A clinical screen will be conducted to determine the candidate’s clinical fit. The ideal candidate should have experience with various cardiovascular procedures, including but not limited to aortic aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass grafting, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
