About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Preferred experience in an acute care facility License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Must-Have: Recent experience with EPIC Description: Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff. Coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment. Collect relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes. Identify outcomes for the patient or the patient's situation. Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and humane environment. Provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members. Directly provide health information to patients, families, and treatment teams. Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Commit to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
