About the Position

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2+ years License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an ICU setting Description: Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area. The facility provides various services, including emergency care, family medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and urgent care. This is a teaching hospital with a focus on high-quality care and continuous education. The facility features a beautiful recreational landscape with numerous parks and golf courses. It is situated in an area known for its wineries. There are easy transportation options with direct flights available to several major hubs. Unit Information: The ICU has 14 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. Occasional equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps is used. The Electronic Health Record system is utilized for patient documentation. The patient population primarily consists of adults with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory issues, some cardiac cases, and trauma.
