Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (6:45 AM - 3:15 PM) Experience: 4+ years License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - 4+ years of experience in the Operating Room - No first-timers accepted - Required to float within the scope to meet facility needs - On-call obligations as dictated by staffing needs Description: This position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shift consists of five 8-hour days from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend requirements typically involve working every fourth weekend, with additional weekday coverage. Call requirements include weekday on-call from 3 PM to 7 AM on assigned days as per rotation. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. The nurse will be responsible for various surgical procedures in the Operating Room. A valid SC license or Compact license must be held prior to starting the position. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. All time off requests should be submitted during the application process. Candidates will be required to adhere to compliance regulations related to hurricane season. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response obligations during the hurricane season. Candidates must be prepared to complete necessary compliance tasks timely prior to the start date. Pre-approved time off may be considered based on facility needs.
