Job Title

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location

Fairfield, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and provide total patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
• Direct and guide patient teaching activities to support positive health outcomes
• Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel in alignment with care plans
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice throughout all patient interactions

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Must meet all facility health and employment requirements including immunizations, drug screening, background check, and TB testing
• Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with completing required onboarding compliance documentation in a timely manner
