Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit managing diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule-out
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and respond appropriately using Rapid Response and Code teams
• Administer blood products and manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IV lines
• Provide non-invasive airway management including BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and standard oxygen administration
• Care for patients with CVA, seizure disorders, and substance withdrawal
• Maintain strict isolation precautions and proper PPE utilization throughout patient care activities

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience is a hard requirement
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• First-time travel nurses are not accepted for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and High Flow Nasal Cannula therapy
• Prior experience floating to other units within a hospital setting
• Familiarity with completing pre-start facility compliance modules efficiently
