About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Valid state license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Current active license - 2+ years of current experience in MS/Telemetry - Charting experience with Meditech EMR - Required certifications Description: Expanding unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6. Float required within scope of practice. Every other weekend required. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer. Must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with telemetry and cardiac management is essential. Travelers must be willing to accept an 84-hour schedule over two weeks. Candidates must present any requests for time off up front. Must work either a major or minor holiday. References required from a charge nurse or higher and one supervisor. Background checks will be conducted. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum six-month break before being eligible to return.
