About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: SICU Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of SICU experience License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Staff RN-Inpatient job incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and protocols in the SICU. Effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team are essential. The nurse is expected to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families. Continuous learning and skill development are encouraged to ensure the highest level of patient care.
