About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 2nd Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of one year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing preferred License: Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) Must-Have: - Excellent customer service skills - Critical thinking skills - Strong communication skills - Organizational skills - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role demonstrates competency in delivering care primarily to an adult population. Essential functions have been adapted from the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
