About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Candidates must possess the core nursing skills relevant to a Med Surg environment. Experience in telemetry is required. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg unit. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit provides care for post-surgical patients with basic monitoring requirements. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 on night shifts. The unit is equipped with basic medical equipment and telemetry support. The working environment is collaborative, with RNs and LVNs on the team. No call requirements are associated with this position. Candidates with experience in similar settings are preferred. Professional development opportunities and support are available.
