About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care experience required. License: Must have active state license. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - Strong attendance and punctuality required. - Must provide proof of license at time of submission. - Must be able to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation. - Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Description: This position involves administering medications and treatments as prescribed. You will monitor and report changes in resident conditions. Timely and accurate documentation is required. Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies. You will supervise CNAs on assigned units. A focus on organized, detail-oriented work is essential. You must be dependable with consistent attendance. Flexibility with scheduling needs is important. Every other weekend is required. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The patient population includes individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:18-20 in a 300-bed facility.
