About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid State License required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Previous experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) Description: REDUCED Non-Billable Orientation Job. First timers are accepted. One to one and a half years of experience will be considered, however, must submit for screening. Position may float between units as needed. On-call is required, up to one shift every two weeks if low census occurs. Weekends are required, every other weekend. Block scheduling is not required. Expected patient ratios are in line with staffing standards. Special requirements include experience in Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum. 48-hour approval is granted. Facility type is Short Term Acute Care with a total of 109 beds. Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs for certain departments will be provided. Charting system used is Epic. Candidates must adhere to facility policies regarding background checks. References required include two covering one year of experience within the last three years. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities nearby. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Communication devices will be supplied by the client if required for the assignment. No direct outreach to facility contacts unless previously agreed upon for interviews. Modules are non-billable and require annual completion.
